Coronavirus Testing

Golden Days completes the test by nasal swab. We insert the nasal swab into the naval cavity to the point of resistance, spin the swab 5 times and remove. The actual test takes less than 10 seconds to perform.

Golden Days results are returned 24-72 hours from the close-of-Business (COB) on the date you were tested. Times vary based on reason for testing, in addition to labratory volume.

If you have not recieved your results, or portal access is not working, please email us at covid19@goldendayshealthcare.com for follow up correspondence from our Golden Days COVID-19 program.

Golden Days Healthcare will only call you if your test results are positive, at which time, you will receive patient instructions. If your test result is negative, and you need documentation for your employer, school or any other entity, you can use the copy that will be emailed to you.

No. Golden Days has COVID-19 testing options available to all individuals and families.

At our facility we conduct medically appropriate (Symptomatic & Exposure) COVID-19 Testing that is currently covered at NO cost to you by accepted health insurance providers.

Surveillance Testing which is testing used for public health or social purposes such as employment (return to workplace), education, travel, or entertainment are generally not covered by your insurance plan and carry an out of pocket cost.

Yes, all of our COVID-19 testing can is scheduled online by visiting goldendayshealthcare.com. This helps us to better manage patient flow, reasoning, and supplies. If you do not have an appointment, we will attempt to accommodate you. However, patients with an appointment are guaranteed to be seen.

Our Testing is completed from your vehicle on a drive up basis. At the time of your scheduled appointment give us a call at our office and we will come to your vehicle to conduct your test.

• Medically Appropriate—The cost of medically appropriate Symptomatic & Exposure office visit and test are submitted to your insurance. There is currently NO out-of-pocket cost associated with this Covid-19 testing.
• Surveillance Testing—The cost of Surveillance Testing Travel, Leisure, Education, and employment office visit and test does carry an out of pocket cost of $125.00, we do not bill your insurance for this service.
• Uninsured Patients—Our facility has a $125.00 fee for the completion of the office visit and test at Golden Days.
  To aid in the COVID-19 pandemic, the costs of uninsured individuals COVID-19 Labratory testing will be paid for with funds from the Federal Health Resources & Services (HRSA) COVID-19 Uninsured Program.
