Testing for COVID-19 - In order to maintain the highest level of healthcare while serving the great community of Bowie, MD and surrounding areas, Golden Days Primary and Express Medical Care is pleased to offer COVID-19 testing. If you feel ill or suspect that you have been exposed to or have symptoms of COVID-19, or if you need clearance for work, travel, or school, you may come to Golden Days Primary and Express Medical Care in Bowie, MD for a test.
Golden Days Primary and Express Medical Care performs the PCR Molecular COVID-19 test and antigen test.
Golden Days completes the test by nasal swab. We insert the nasal swab into the naval cavity to the point of resistance, spin the swab 5 times and remove. The actual test takes less than 10 seconds to perform.
Golden Days results are returned 24-72 hours from the close-of-Business (COB) on the date you were tested. Times vary based on reason for testing, in addition to labratory volume.
Your results will be communicated to you via the HIPPA compliant patient portal.

No, Golden Days is an Urgent/Express Care facility. With accepted insurance, you can be tested with an office visit by scheduling an appointment here or giving us a call at the office.
